What is the function of the door lock body?

This is the anti-theft lock body of the new world lock, which is very convenient to open and close the door. There is no need for a key to lock the door or to open the locked door, just lift the handle up. This lock body is only suitable for steel and wood doors (the kind that do not open windows), fully airtight doors. Because it has the function of quick opening and quick closing, this kind of lock body cannot be used for fence-type stainless steel anti-theft doors, fence anti-theft doors, the reason is very simple, just use a thin stick to move the door handle outside the door, the door will open . Not anti-theft.

What kinds of door lock bodies are there?

  1. Padlocks

Padlocks are not permanent and come in a range of sizes. They are also easy to identify and come in two common varieties: key padlocks and combination padlocks. For combination padlocks, the user needs to have a set of numbers that, if entered correctly, will open the lock. These types of shackles are easy to fill or decode.

Padlocks with keys come in non-replaceable and replaceable keyed locks. Changing keys to non-rekeyable padlocks is not easy. In addition, the lock may or may not be key retained. Once the lock is opened, the key retaining padlock does not allow the key to be removed. A latch with a covered shoulder makes it difficult for an intruder to cut your lock.

  2. Latch

Latches are primarily installed on exterior doors, and they have more options than padlocks. They are offered in three different types: lockable thumbturn, one-way and two-way. For a single cylinder, the lock has a key cylinder on the outside and a thumbturn on the inside. If an intruder can use the thumbturn, the lock can be easily opened from the inside.

For a double cylinder, it comes with a lock cylinder on the inside and on the outside. It makes the door more secure, but still reduces accessibility. This is a significant risk in the event of an emergency. The lockable thumbturn is a hybrid of a single cylinder and a double cylinder. The thumbturn located on the inside can be easily locked using a key. If unlocked, the latch will operate as a single cylinder lock.

What are the installation conditions of the lock body?

If you mean to install it on the door. As long as the door lock body hole size is appropriate and the door side clearance size is appropriate, it can be installed.

If the position and size are different, tools are required to change the hole. I don't know why you opened the lock. There is a clutch in the lock body, and the wires are connected to the front and rear panels of the lock.
